02/22/2006: "Mmmmm . . . nyhc!"

"Follow the path of no one else
It's all about being true to myself
I'll speak my mind, I won't keep it inside
The years pass and people change
But I'm stayin' true to my ways
Hardcore is my life, I'll carry the name"

Madball is coming to the State Theater (St. Pete, FL) in April. For those who may not know, when Roger Miret was in jail and there was no Agnostic Front, Madball filled that void. With Freddy Cricien and (formerly) Vinnie Stigma, Madball is the spirit, if not the person, of AF and New York Hardcore in general. I've seen them a whole bunch of times in NYC, but this will be the first time I will see them live since I moved down here. It's just what I need to ground myself.

Go! . . .

If I could write an honest “personal ad” description about whom I am today, it would say:

I’m single and 35, and I’ve had two long term relationships. One was a former husband. The second was recently - in January. I ended both, but for completely normal reasons.
It still hurts me to have separated from both of them.
I deal with it by choosing to ignore it, or distract myself from it.
As I am feeling quite vulnerable at the moment, most men who can present themselves as attractive and charming will probably get lucky.
As well, I am drinking a lot more then usual, which means more opportunity for attractive and charming men to get lucky.
I’m really only looking for men to aid as a diversion from the obvious pain I am attempting to avoid.
I’m only being honest because I think most men on here are just trying to get laid anyway.

Just 86 it if you don't like it's incompatibleness. I don’t care. Of course, I’ve never known you to care before when I ramble on your site.
